Kid’s Fall Mission Experience
Details: November 5-7, Indianapolis, IN

For our Fall Kids Mission Trip we will be going to Indianapolis to participate in the Million Meals Movement and other service projects in the area . We will be partnering with local organizations and churches to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Two mandatory classes are required for kids. You have 2 dates to choose from: October 10, October 17 or October 24. There will be mandatory for all parents on October 31. All meetings will be held at 8am in room 506 in The Avenue at the Tipp City Campus.

If you are interested in being a leader and serving with your kid(s), contact Stephanie at stracy@ginghamsburg.org. A Gray Kids on Mission shirt is optional for Saturday’s events. If you would like to purchase a kids on mission t-shirt- that will be an additional $10. Cost for the trip is $50.

Mission Agenda:
Friday – Meet, register, and pray at the church. Leave by 5:30pm. Arrive in Indianapolis before 8:00pm. Familiarize ourselves with the church, enjoy some fellowship in the gym, take showers (if needed) and go to bed!

Saturday – Start with breakfast and some devotion time and play a few mission-based large group games. Then we go to the Million Meals Movement headquarters to pack meals for the homeless from 11:00am-1:00pm. We arrive back at the church for lunch and devotional and group time. The afternoon will be spent doing some service projects at the church itself.

Sunday – We start the day with church! After worship, we have some additional devotional and debrief time and then travel to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis for an afternoon of fun. Kids will be required to visit certain informational locations (such as the Anne Frank display). We load back on our busses by 4:30pm and arrive home no later than 7:00pm, when parents can meet us for pickup.
